We are living in unprecedented times and due to the social distancing and new lockdown measures it is with great sadness we have decided to close Viney Hearing Care until the government feel it is safe to reopen.
We will be in our Swansea branch offering a phone and repair service on:
Wednesdays 9am-5pm
01792 204886
If you need batteries or accessories these orders will be processed and sent out asap.
We are offering a drop off repair service on this day where you or a family member can bring your hearing instruments to be fixed. Please place the aid in the repair box with patient name, postcode and contact phone number and we will ring you to collect it once it is repaired (hopefully the same day). If we cannot repair it, we will be using the manufacturer repair service and they will be delivered straight back to you. There will be a charge unless under warranty.
We will also offer postal repair service where if you send your aids special delivery we will fix and return the aids directly to you or you can arrange for them to be picked up (please enclose a prepaid special delivery bag with your return address on if you wish for them to be returned by post).
We understand outpatient Audiology in singleton is closed for the foreseeable, they are offering a postal repair service but to help out we will also extend our drop in and postal repair service to all NHS patients.
If you wish to use our postal service, please send your aids to:
Viney Hearing Care
104 Gower Road
Sketty
Swansea
SA2 9BZ
The hearing aid manufacturers are also offering a repair service where you can send your aids directly to them, they will be cleaned and checked but there will be a charge for any component replacement unless under warranty. Details of this service and manufacturers addresses yo ucan find on the news post below.
Unfortunately, our Cardiff branch will remain closed until further notice but we will still process accessories and postal repairs through the Swansea Branch.
In a time of isolation, communication is so important and we will strive to continue this service for as long as possible.
Best Wishes to you all and stay safe
