The following safety measures have been put in place for face to face consultations to prevent the spread of COVID-19;
Please attend your appointment alone unless a chaperone is required.
Social distancing must be respected wherever possible, please try to maintain a 2m distance from staff and other patients.
Please attend your appointment at the correct time.
Please sanitise your hands when entering the clinic.
During your appointment we will don PPE – this includes aprons, surgical facemasks and gloves
All clinical surfaces will be fully disinfected pre and post treatments.
All clinical and PPE waste will be discarded of according to local policies.
Staff will have symptom checks daily and adhere to infection control measures for hand washing and waste disposal.
If you are coming in for an appointment it will likely require close contact to assess and provide treatment. It is recommended that face masks are worn when social distancing measures cannot be maintained but this is not mandatory. Despite close contact posing an increased risk in contracting COVID-19, we ensure that the above risk assessment and infection control measures have been put in place to minimise this risk.
